We’ve increased security by a factor of two

We’ve just released the Two Factor Authentication security feature for the ServerMule console. This is great news for all of our clients enabling them to ensure their VPS Servers remain secure.

Two Factor Authentication works by requiring users to provide a one time, time based token as well as their username and passwords to log on to the console. To generate the time based token you will require a token generator, we recommend you use the Google Authenticator application available for ios and Android to generate your tokens.

Two Factor Authentication can now be enabled on all our existing client accounts. To set it up just go to the “My Details” page in the console and select they “Security Settings” tab. Then just follow the simple on page steps to enable Two Factor Authentication for your accountas illustrated below.
